THE YEAR 2025 HAS ARRIVED!
On May 27, the simulation POLITIKUM YEAR XXV was inaugurated.
The Board of Directors of the POLITIKUM Academic Corporation welcomed the students who, during these three days, will participate in the only academic simulation that will take them to the future.

The opening ceremony was attended by the former Vice President of Ecuador, Otto Sonnenholzner, who was happy and grateful to be able to share this space with young people not only from Ecuador, but from different parts of the world. Sonnenholzner spoke, from his experience, about the main challenges that the world faces in the next 4 years.
After his speech, the participants were able to exchange questions and ideas on different topics, among which stand out: the experience of the former Vice President in the public sector and the importance of youth in politics.
The message...
Doménica Moya, General Secretary of POLITIKUM YEAR XXV, impressed all those present with her speech; which was full of key messages for the young participants in the simulation, among which the following stands out:
“We must stand firm and not allow what we have to say to continue to be ignored under the excuse that we are young, that we do not know, that we do not have a title, but rather prove that we already have the capacity, the enthusiasm and the ideas to take the baton of the future from today".
LANDING IN 2025...
THE SPECIAL COMMITTEE ON SANCTIONS ON IRAN (SCOSI) STARTED ITS NEGOTIATIONS
For the first day of the future, SCOSI delegates attended their own opening ceremony with a special guest from Washington DC, Dr. Shelton Williams, Director of the Osgood Center for International Studies. He shared his experience regarding Iran and nuclear weapons, and the possibilities that the scenario designed for the simulation becomes real. Dr. Williams also spoke about the challenges of the future and his experience with Iran and the nuclear weapons regime.
Also, Secretary-General Domenica Moya, shared some words with the delegates, leaving the following message:
“One of the main reasons for change in the world is that the old ways, methods, and ideas have precisely become that: “old”. Time for innovation has come, time for our new ideas.”
